The Care Gap

The Reality Nigerian Families Face

Behind every unmet care need is a family who tried everything and still couldn't make it work.

Thousands of families are left without care

Across Nigeria, families who need professional home care are priced out. Elderly parents, stroke survivors, and post-surgery patients go without consistent, expert support.

Caregivers are stretched. Families are on their own.

Working families juggle jobs and caregiving with no system behind them. Elderly parents and post-hospital patients sit in homes where no professional support exists.

Care exists. Access is the gap.

Cyona has the caregivers. Families have the need. The only thing missing is a bridge — and that is exactly what this cohort is designed to build.

Our Vision

What We're Building Together

Most families struggle to balance ambition with caring for loved ones. Cyona offers the best of both worlds — connecting them with trusted, verified caregivers who provide professional, compassionate care right at home.

We've built a platform that manages every interaction between caregivers, care sponsors, and care recipients. Families can thrive and live a full life with peace of mind — knowing their loved ones are in safe, professional hands.

The Care Is Coming Home sponsorship cohort takes this further: selected families pay 65% of the care cost, while Care Patrons bridge the remaining 35% — making professional care accessible to families who would otherwise go without.

Slots are limited to 100 families. Applicants go through a simple Care Access Assessment to ensure fairness and transparency.

This is not charity. It is a shared commitment to restoring stability in Nigerian homes.

How It Works

How Care Patronage Works
